Colin and Jarrett are 26 weeker preemie twins..
They were born Febuary 2nd 2006
Colin weighed 2pounds 3 ounces and Jarrett weighed 2pounds 1 ounce
This is their story...
I was 24 weeks pregant, and i went for my daily visit to the dr when they seen i was completely dialted from the inside.
so i was immeditaly admitted to and a amniosentecis was done to check the fluid on the babies.. everything looked good and
no infection.. 2 days later they did a cercalge and swen my cervix shut.. i went home and was put on bed rest.. a week later
i was back in with contractions and put on morphine to stop everything .. it wrked thank god.. and before they sent me home
after 2days they gave me a tour of the NICU so i knew what i was going to be happening! as i got the tour when i sat in my
wheel chair i bawled my eyes out cuz of all the tiny babies there fighting for their lives!!!
another week went by, i am now 26 weeks and i am at my moms i lay down in bed since i am on bed rest, i wake up for a
nap at 7pm and i went to the bathroom... My water was breaking slowly but it was surely happening.. i new from that moment
i was going to have my boys and it was just tooo SOOON! Well i cried and cried and yelled for my mom cuz it was now time to
go to the hospital.. i called my sister misty and told her my water broke and that her and andrea needed to get here asap
.. Andrea took shane for me while i went to the hospital!! Steve was called in the meantime cuz he was a work! I was a mess
all the way out to the hospital.. When i got to Pottsville.. they immediatly checked me and it was confirmed that is was my
water and i was sent to LEhigh Valley Hospital for delievery! i got to lehigh.. and they put me in my room.. they did an
ultra sound to check the babies and they were still ok.. the next step was to try and keep them in there as along as possible..
it was a very long nite.. as it went to the next morning my contractions started gettin worse and i started to bleed.. i was
hemorraging .. i needed a c-section because I was abrupting, which means my placenta was separating from the wall of the
uterus ... I went for surgery.. i remember it being very cold. and they gave me a warm heated blanket they prepped me and
stuck me TWICE i have you not, for my epidural! it hurt like hell!! Steven came in with me.. i cried the hole time.. it
was 12:02 pm and Colin Arthur came out.. i listened for his vauge cry.. and then 12:03pm Jarrett Ray arrvied.. my little miracle
babies from birth.. i listend for his cry but you could barley hear him. i was worried about them from the start i didnt even
get to see them tilll 5 hrs later!!! it was the worse day ever!!
It was then the begining for a journey for two precious little boys!
